Siliconization

After washing the inside of the bottle, an aqueous emulsion, based on polydimethysiloxanic oil conforming to all pharmacopeia, is sprayed inside the bottle, then fixed by autoglass through the annealing lehr. It can be applied to bottles of all capacities from 5ml to 1 litre, of any type I, II or III, clear or amber.

Siliconization provides a protective coating for drugs containing fragile molecules which may react to the glass container. For lipidic infusible solutions, it gives the bottles total transparency, and it enables the very last drop of aqueous solutions to be used, thus respecting the correct dosage in case of very active molecules.

The siliconization of the bottles is entirely carried out in clean rooms with classification 100 000, at the Verreries de la Somme, a unit of the group that has had ISO 15378 certification since 2007.
