Velocity® vials are Type I borosilicate tubular glass vials with Corning Velocity® external low-friction coating. Designed for injectable drug products, they improve vial handling and reduce damage during fill & finish operations.
The coating reduces glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal friction, helping prevent jams, tip-overs, cracks, breakages, and cosmetic rejects. As the internal vial surface remains unchanged, drug contact compatibility is maintained.
