Glass vials composed of 20% and 30% PCR:
A solution produced at the SGD Pharma plant in Zhanjiang, China, incorporating post-consumer recycled glass (PCR) to reduce virgin raw material use and energy consumption. In 2025, SGD Pharma became the first glass manufacturer in China to achieve ISO 14021 certification for its PCR glass packaging, marking a significant breakthrough in producing verified PCR glass for the cosmetics and beauty sectors.
NOVA range in lightweight glass:
Combining technical precision and durability, the NOVA bottle allows a reduction of CO2 up to 20% compared to standard models, demonstrating that optimized glass distribution and weight reduction can preserve both structural integrity and visual aesthetics.
ECLIPSE refillable glass jar:
A stylish, refillable system that encourages reuse and limits single-use waste. Its modular design allows consumers to easily replace the caps, extending the life of the outer glass container and supporting the principles of circular economy in beauty packaging.
Visitors will also discover SGD Pharma’s advanced decoration capabilities, including state-of-the-art Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), lacquering and screen printing technologies, enabling brand differentiation while remaining compatible with recycling channels. These techniques offer high-end finishes combining luxurious aesthetics and eco-friendly design.
