SGD Pharma named Best Employer in France in the heavy industry and materials sector for the second year running

SGD Pharma, a manufacturer of glass pharmaceutical packaging, tops the ranking of France’s best employers in the heavy industry and materials category for the second consecutive year. This ranking, published annually for the past four years by Capital magazine, is based on a survey of 20,000 employees conducted by the Statista institute.

SGD Pharma employs more than 3,000 people across three continents, in a wide variety of rewarding roles dedicated to patient health and safety. Safety is one of the Group’s top priorities, for patients and employees alike. Targeted prevention initiatives are carried out every day to strengthen safety across all Group sites, particularly at its five plants. Every year, on “World Safety Day”, workshops are held to raise employee awareness, prepare them for different situations and ensure that emergency procedures are in place. The aim is to apply EHS best practices based on sharing experience between sites.
