After Kipfenberg production facility, SGD Pharma India has now successfully gone through the certification audit on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 by SGS on 28, 29 and 30 december.
This positve result have been achieved thanks to the group approach and the involvement of women and men at production sites. The safety of employees remains a main focus for SGD Pharma in our approach and practices.
OHSAS 18001 standard states the implementation of Health & Safety Management Systems and its requirements. The objective is to obtain a better risk management in order to reduce the number of accidents, to comply with the current legislation and to improve performances.
ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an Environmental Management System. It maps out a framework that a company can follow to set up an effective environmental management system. Using ISO 14001 can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
